OLD
BUSINESS**
Receptacles have been placed at the Iowa Great Lakes
boat ramps for ALL anglers to put old fishing line to be
recycled.
That way, the line won't hurt fish, foul, or boat props.
PLEASE
deposit any old line in these boxes. Boxes are
located at
Emerson Bay, Templar Lagoon, and Hwy 9 & 71 bridge.

NEW BUSINESS

**Fish
Iowa Ice Fishing with the Okoboji Middle
School
will be held on February 17th & 21st. The
sessions will begin about 11:45 and end about 3:00.
Would like 3 - 4 chapter members to volunteer each
day, and bring your ice augers along. Please let
Steve Horswell know if you will be able to help.
FISH
BARRIER project:
Current plan is to remodel
Lower Gar low head dam and integrate the fish barrier
at
this location. This will include a multitude of
auto-
mated controls and a backup power generator. Com-
pletion by fall 2012 if water levels stay low. Projected
cost of $500,000.00 to $700,000.00.
SPRING SEMINAR: Saturday, March 17th.
BUMP BOARDS:
Dale Witt
is Bump Board Chairman.
FALL TOURNAMENT:
Motion approved to
proceed with a
one day tournament this
year. Event to be held on
Saturday with
NO MEAL
PROVIDED.
Entry fee will be
$40.00.
